this is my first tab but ive played this song like a billion times with my friend and this is what i came up with

The intro to the intro... (sounds clean with a bit of chorus and reverb, and a little flange)
GUITAR 1
all slightly palm muted
e----------------------------------------
b----------------------------------------
g----------------------------------------
D----------------------------------------
A--4(x16)----------------------4(x4)-----
E----------6(x16)--4(x12)--2(x8)---------
(the last two frets that you play, they kinda overlap so play two of them together and finish on A4)

Intro
GUITAR 1 (or both can play, same effects as intro above)
again all palm muted
e----------------------------------------
b----------------------------------------
g----------------------------------------
D---6------------------------------------
A---4(x8)--8------6------4---------------
E----------6(x8)--4(x8)--2(x7)-----------
(as you palm mute this, in between struming release the frets so there is no sound between strums)

Chorus

BOTH GUITARS (one guitar can play with heavy distortion while the other plays clean, this mix sounds great together)
