the studio version is actually a half step higher you have the right progression tho :D so if you wanna play along with the song the chords would be up like this: Verse: G# would be A F# would be G C# would be D etc etc so the chorus would go G A D G F# Cause you and your heart shouldn't feel so far apart G A D G G# You can choose what you take why you gotta break and make it feel so hard also at the end of each full progression of the verse he goes from the D chord back to the G for like one beat and then to the D again then the bridge or outro goes A D A D A D A D E A D You draw so many lines in the sand A D Lost the fingernails on your hands A D How you're gonna scratch any backs? A D E Better hope that time will take our lines away Take all our lines and A D A D Hope that time will take our lines and A D A D E Hope that time will take our lines away Take all our lines away ring out A

@ Arctic_Johnny yeah that amounts to the same thing...just figured for ppl without capos who still wanna play along i'd post the correction this way but putting a capo on first would do the same thing :D also if you put a capo on 2nd fret and play a G - F - C - F7 - C you can play along using open chords :)
